Happy Kids’ Event
Event Report
We held our Happy Kids event this year on September 6th at Higashi Gakushu Center. KIEA and kids from the area made classic peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which is an American staple that goes back over 100 years. We also got to experience making tuna sandwiches and fruit punch. Everything was delicious. Afterwards we went to the craft room and started drawing different designs on plastic mugs.
There were many people who came to the event including participants from America, Canada, France, and Korea. Everyone had a great time with the kids learning how to make new sandwiches and was surprised how good their drawings were on the mugs. Overall it created wonderful international atmosphere and was tons of fun. We look forward to the next one!
