International Day
In order to increase global awareness in the local area, the Kanoya International Exchange Association (KIEA) will be holding an event, in conjunction with the Osumi Lakeside Festival, called ‘International Day’.
At this event we will be introducing a number of different aspects from various cultures such as, games, cuisine, music, folk costumes etc.
There will also be a number of cross-cultural workshops held throughout the day.
This will be an excellent opportunity for children and adults to gain a global perspective, so please ask your friends and family to come along too.

World Restaurant
Sample various foods, teas and snacks from around the world.
International Fashion Show
See real folk costumes from a number of different countries in a fashion show style setting.
Concert
Hear the sounds of traditional instruments and music from around the world.
